Appearance/Clothing Style : Abigail wears all dark clothing. Since her death, she has taken back her macabre appearance, not letting her skin be shown to the world. The brief time that light had been in her eyes, it has faded once again, the sparks being removed from her eyes. She seems duller, even her clothes appear grey as opposed to black.
Though she wears baggy black clothes now to hide her wings. They do not show unless she lets them, but she feels like she is an abomination.
History: Abigail had always been the odd one out. She was very reserved and very quiet, often speaking in riddles except to her sister, Kara. When she was fourteen, she met Lee. She was enthralled with him, and she accidently got pregnant. They were in love, but when Cameron found them he nearly killed Lee, and they were banned from seeing each other. When Kara found out Abigail was actually pregnant, Kara kidnapped her away because she didn't want anyone getting killed, and she was glad that Abigail had found someone else to open up to.
So they were on there way here, away from their brothers, when they got into a horrendous car accident. Abigail was six months pregnant, and they had to do an emergency c-section. Amazingly, the daughter survived.
However, Abigail was in a coma for a week. When she awoke, she only remembered her family; not Lee, not the baby. Kara decided to pretend the baby was hers and say that the boys went off to England. It's been a year now, and Abigail has a fuzzy memory of the events, but she thinks Lee is a fantasy she made up.
That was back in another world. It's another year later, and Abigail is a wreck. She had married Lee; but he had to leave to get Cara out of trouble about eight months into the marriage. Abigail hadn't yet told him that she was pregnant again-four months pregnant. Her sister Kara had gotten sent over seas because her relationship with the General had been exposed.
But then Kaylen got kidnapped. And then she miscarried. And then she tried to kill herself. Kara had made the Sergeant promise that he would look out for Abigail, and he had been checking in. But he wasn't fast enough to stop her entirely from killing herself.
And so Abigail died. For a minute. She saw the demon world; for she had committed sin and tried to kill herself so she could not go to heaven-she saw the wreckage that was the wasteland. And then the General was able to resuscitate her-sending her to be taken care of by his herbalist friend, Michelle. Michelle knew of her ailment; and was able to walk her through it.
You see, having seen the world of the damned and committing the sin, Abigail could never go to heaven. She was dead, in a sense. But Gabriel came and gave her a second chance-he told her that if she fulfilled a mission, then she would be allowed to start anew. It was more or less something she was forced into.
She was given wings, which she nearly fainted upon seeing. Michelle again helped her, but Abigail was never the same. She has still not found Kaylen. Her mind is numbed by the herbal remedies that Michelle gave her per request. She cries herself to sleep every night thinking of Kaylen and Lee.
Personality: Abigail is more reserved then she ever was. She feels like she let Kaylen and Lee down by running away again. She just didn't want to admit to Lee that she hadn't found Kaylen. She has a job to do now, helping to keep the balance of good and evil in the world and help ferry souls to the afterlife; though she can never see anymore of heaven than it's pearly gates. She still loves Edgar Allen Poe, though revels in the darkness of it all.
